Ethics & Privacy
This page sets out — in plain language — how participation, consent, and data are handled. We treat respect, transparency, and reversibility as design properties of the artefact itself, not afterthoughts.
Research purpose
Decision Fit is part of a Master of Technological Futures research project investigating to what extent mapping a team's group decision-making mechanism to its decision context influences team productivity. Findings are intended to inform academic and practitioner communities.
Voluntary participation
Use of this tool is entirely voluntary. You may exit at any point. Sharing your responses for research purposes is opt-in only — consent boxes are never pre-selected.
Data collected
Where you consent, we record your diagnostic responses, optional reflections, and (if provided) your name, role, country, and email. We do not use cookies for tracking.
How data is used
Anonymised data may be aggregated to refine the artefact, support thesis findings, and produce conference or journal output. Identifiable data is not shared with third parties.
Withdrawal process
You may request deletion of your data at any time before publication by contacting the researcher via the Contact page. Withdrawal does not affect any rights you have.
Privacy protections
Stored data is access-controlled and segregated from any public-facing surfaces. Email addresses are used only to send your results and (if separately consented) future updates.
Contact
For ethics or data questions, please reach out via the Contact page. Concerns may also be escalated to the supervising academic institution.
