Important distinction

This is a master source register, not necessarily the bibliography that should appear unchanged in the final thesis. A defensible final reference list should contain only sources that are:

  • cited in the submitted web report, artefact documentation or appendices; and
  • materially used in developing the argument, method, findings or interpretation.

Therefore, the final thesis bibliography will probably be shorter than this register. Earlier research directions—such as broad diversity literature, historical team examples, sustainability material and sources from abandoned conceptual strands—should remain in the master register but should not be included in the final reference list unless they survive into the submitted work.

Audit limitation

This is the most complete defensible register recoverable from the project history and source traces available to me. I do not have a literal export containing every message from every historical project conversation. Some older conversations preserved only shorthand such as an author and year, an article title fragment, or a practitioner webpage description. Those 57 records are explicitly marked for confirmation; I have not fabricated the missing metadata.

Summary of outtakes

  • The project has already drawn on a substantial and multidisciplinary evidence base.
